Pinery

The Pinery is the wooded, unincorporated stretch of Douglas County about four miles south of Parker along Highway 83, and it reads differently from newer subdivisions the moment you turn in. Development started in 1971 on generous five- to ten-acre sites, and while later filings brought lots down, the median parcel still runs around a third of an acre with many considerably larger and shaded by mature ponderosa.
