Castlewood Ranch occupies Castle Rock’s east side, tucked in below State Highway 86 and North Ridge Road where the town starts giving way to open country. Most of it went up from the early 2000s onward, so you will find ranch and two-story single-family plans alongside lower-maintenance townhomes, with typical lots a bit larger than you see closer to downtown.

The homeowners association maintains 159 acres of open space and close to three miles of trails and walkways woven through the neighborhood. Flagstone Elementary on Lovington Street and Mesa Middle School are both within walking distance, and Douglas County High School is a short drive, all in Douglas County School District RE-1.

Matney Park on Lantern Circle brings an 18-hole disc golf course and ball courts, and Castlewood Canyon State Park lies just east with 12 miles of trails and the ruins of a dam that failed in 1933. Let us know if you would like to see how the filings differ.
