CO Elizabeth
Saddlewood
Saddlewood is one of the established acreage neighborhoods just north of Elizabeth, and the street names hint at the setting — Whispering Pine Court, Elkridge Run — mature pines shading lots in the two-and-a-half to three-acre range. Homes went up from the early 1990s through the 2000s, so there is real variety: ranch and raised-ranch plans, tri-levels and two-stories, most with basements and a fair number with walkouts.
Every home has a private well and septic system. The community is covenant-controlled under the volunteer Saddlewood Foundation, which maintains the interior roads, provides trail access, and runs an active fire-mitigation program — worth knowing that the covenants do not permit farm animals or chickens, so let’s talk early if livestock is part of your plan.
Running Creek Elementary, Elizabeth Middle School and Elizabeth High School serve the neighborhood, and Casey Jones Park and downtown Elizabeth are both close. Reach out and we will let you know when something opens up.
